Yvonne Renae Edwards Kinghorn, 50, of Rexburg, Idaho, died November 28, 2015, in Salt Lake City, Utah from complications of cancer.
She was born October 5, 1965, in Missoula, Montana to Denny and Shari Edwards. She was raised and attended school in Florence, Montana. She attended and received an associates degree from Ricks College.
Yvonne married Kent Leroy Kinghorn on August 13, 1988, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
She enjoyed Zumba, writing, reading, loved being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Yvonne was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the stake Relief Society presidency, as a primary teacher, and in the Young Women's presidency.
She loved to write. She wrote a book called, "A Message of Hope" after surviving cancer in 2005.
She is survived by her husband, Kent Kinghorn; her parents, Denny and Shari Edwards; her three sisters, Lisa (Sergio) Puente, Lyndsi (James) Wischmeier, Crissy (Brian) Sharp; and her brother Travis (Vickie) Edwards; her children, Tyler Kinghorn, Chris (Bree) Kinghorn, Cody Kinghorn, Devani (Tyson) Keyser; her granddaughter, Ryan Kinghorn; her grandmothers, Jessie Lunceford and Esther Edwards.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 4th at the Salem LDS Chapel, located at, 3462 North Salem Road, Rexburg. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
