Zella Fay Polson Fullmer, 88, of Driggs, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, at her home, surrounded by family. She was born November 5, 1928, in Roberts, Idaho, the eldest child of William Leonard Polson and Elsie Levada Yorty Polson.
She graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
She married Theral Gene Fullmer on June 16, 1947. He preceded her in death in May 2016. She and Gene worked for the Grand Teton National Park Service. She also worked for Teton County School District as an aide and retired from there. She always considered her family her number one priority.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities.
She is survived by her children, Maria (Glen) Houghton of Pocatello, Fay Fullmer of Salt Lake City, Utah, Randy (Sherry) Fullmer of Tetonia, Del (Terri) Fullmer of Driggs, Barbara (Owen) Moulton of Driggs, Kathy (Jerry) Saville of Idaho Falls; brothers, Jack (Ann) Polson of Lake Havasu, Arizona, Bill Polson of Reno, Nevada; sisters-in-law, Deloris Davis of Othello, Washington, Donna Mae (Dan) Sorensen of St. George, Utah; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Kay) Fullmer of Tetonia; 31 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Fullmer, a son William Don Fullmer, a sister Lila Mae Kendall, and a granddaughter Hannah Fullmer and her parents Bill and Elsie Polson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, at the Driggs LDS Stake Center, with Bishop Michael Brown of the Driggs 2nd Ward officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Friday from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m., both times at the stake center. Burial will be in the Cache-Clawson Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home.
