It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Zita Isabelle Moores Roseborough on March 14, 2024, at age 89. Mom was born on September 16, 1934, in Grand Junction, Colorado to Theodore Fredrick and Anna Marie Gormley Hammer. She grew up on an 18,000-acre ranch in Glade Park, Colorado with her sister and five brothers. She was a longtime resident of St Anthony.

Mom was a dedicated wife to her late husbands, Junior Lee Moores and Gerald Lee Roseborough and a devoted mother to her children. She taught her children valuable life skills and lessons, there was a lesson in everything. One of her favorite quotes was "did you learn anything from it, and if so, what did you learn?"

Mom worked shiftwork for over three decades at Basic American Foods in Rexburg. She continued to teach valuable life lessons and made so many great, long-lasting friends.

Mom enjoyed hosting cousin parties for her grandchildren, traveling, sewing, cooking, gardening, and, of course, her animals. There was always a house full.

Mom was preceded in death by her daughter Jean Lynn Moores, husband Junior Lee Moores, and husband Gerald Lee Roseborough. She is survived by her children Ted Moores, June Graves, Todd Moores, Jan Mackert, Tarrel Moores, Julie Carlson and Jolene Robles, 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Rest in peace Mom. You will forever be in our hearts. We'll miss your larger-than-life spirit, witty sense of humor and ability to tell it like it is.

Services will be held Saturday April 27th at 11:00 am at Bert Flamm Mortuary, 581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony. The family will receive friends that morning from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. also at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery. There will be a luncheon for family and close friends afterwards at the Presbyterian Community Church in St Anthony.
