Robert Seely

Robert Boyd Seely, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 16, 2026, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, surrounded by his loving wife, Jill, and their children. Rob was taken from his family’s farm homestead in Twin Groves, Idaho—a place he cherished deeply.

Rob was born on January 7, 1964, to Dean and Leila Seely. He spent his life rooted in Twin Groves, where he built his home and enjoyed breathtaking views of the Tetons. He especially loved capturing their beauty in photographs at sunrise and sunset.

Robert married Jill Siepert on February 16th 2002. They later divorced in their marriage and then they were re connected and loved one another dearly. Together Rob and Jill had 5 children. Bryant Klingler, Trenna Beardall, Kaylee Seely, Mataya Seely,and Jayden Seely. Rob was also a proud grand father to nine grand children.

Rob worked with his Dad, Dean, farming and ranching for 25 years. He enjoyed the long days working alongside with his Dad. Upon his passing he was managing the farm and working at Simplot’s. His passion was restoring his 1952 Chevy and working along side with his son Jayden. Jayden and Rob were working on his 1984 square body Chevy that was Rob’s farm truck. Rob and Jayden bonded while working on both trucks. Mataya also worked with her Dad and they just started the restoration on his 2006 Chevy. Mataya was daddy’s baby girl. Rob also cherished time with his daughter Kaylee on the farm and was a devoted father to Bryant and Trenna, whom he helped raise.

Rob had a love for Nascar, especially of Dale Earnhardt and drag racing. He watched Nascar every week and also attended a race in Phoenix, Arizona. Rob enjoyed every moment with his family and loved everyone. Rob loved his family deeply. He will be remembered as a patient, loving, hardworking man and an exceptional father and proud grand father.

Rob is survived by his wife Jill Seely, of Twin Groves Idaho, his children Bryant Klingler, of Saint Anthony Idaho, Trenna Beardall (Josh), of Jackson, Wyoming, Kaylee Seely, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mataya Seely, and Jayden Seely of Twin Groves, Idaho.He is preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Leila Seely, two brothers Richard Dean Seely and Bradford Seely, and his mother and father in law, Blair and Chris Siepert.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday March 23rd, 2026 at Hog Hollow Ward Chapel, located at 507 West 2nd North, Saint Anthony, Idaho, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. both times at the church. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
