Joyce Klein

Joyce Klein, 92 of Teton, passed away February 13, 2026 at the Honestead in Rexburg, Idaho.

Joyce was born September 28, 1933 in Wilford,Idaho to Douglass Baird Logan and Malissa Simons. She had 3 sisters, Peggy, Marilyn and LaDean. 

She attended school in Wilford until they lost their house in a fire. The family then moved to St. Anthony, where she graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1952. She then worked at Macks Inn at Island Park.

She married Elmer Klein on March 22, 1958. They made their home in Wilford until the Teton Dam failed in 1976. They moved to Teton where she has since resided.Joyce worked for the Fremont School District as a cook for many years, retiring in 1998.

She is survived by her children, Karen, Jay and Dennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her 3 sisters. Her family gives a special thanks to Enhabit Home Health and Hospice, Nurse Leah Mauldin and the Homestead for their caring and compassion.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary,581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony. The family will receive friends that morning from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment will be in the Wilford Cemetery.
