The family of Floyd Blaine Fife announce his passing on May 23, 2026. Blaine, 82, of Parker Idaho, passed away of natural causes.
Blaine was born September 9, 1943 in Nyssa, Oregon to Leo John Fife and Eliza Gertrude Lloyd. He was the fourth of seven children.
Blaine graduated from Nyssa High School in 1961. He played in the high school band playing the trombone. He could also play many other instruments including trumpet, guitar and piano. He was on the high school track team and held the track record at the time in one of his events. He was in the Pep Band, choir and Hi-Y Men's Chorus. He was also the lead vocalist in a private band
Blaine met Mary Suzanne Wynn of Ontario Oregon and fell in love. They married January 26, 1963. They had two daughters, Brenda Lee and Sondra Kay. Blaine furthered his education and received his technical training degree in appliance repair. He worked this trade for over thirty five years providing for his family.
In 1976, Blaine moved his family to Idaho Falls, Idaho where he began his own appliance repair business.
Blaine enjoyed the outdoors, and took every opportunity to spend time in nature. He loved to golf, hike, fish, camp, hunt, boat, ski, and snowmobile. He also served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In December 1998, Blaine and Suzanne were divorced. Blaine met Marion Leonard Marley of Pocatello, Idaho in May 2005 and fell in love. They were married May 13, 2006 in Firth, Idaho. After he retired, he and Marion moved to Parker, Idaho where they continued to enjoy the many things nature had to offer. They were able to build a self-sufficient home (off the grid) and put together a hobby farm with many animals including cattle, Llamas, emu's, mini horses, rabbits, pigs, sheep, geese, ducks, chickens, guinea hens. goats, and turkeys.
Blaine was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Gary LaVerne Fife (Karen) and Donald Bruce Fife (MinNette Emmell), a sister DiAnne Marilyn Fife and her husband, Clinton Leon Chamberlain and brother-in-law Glen Green (Carol), mother and father-in-law, Elgie and Mary Leonard, sister-in-law, Brenda Moon (Gary) from Parker. He was also preceded in death by his in-laws from his previous marriage, Eugene Woodrow and Edith Isabell Wynn, his brothers and sisters in law, Jan Eugene Wynn and wife Sherleen Newton Wynn, George Brent Wynn, Dixie Isabell Wynn Leavitt and her husband Donald Vinnell Leavitt, brother-in-law Kenneth Jeffrey Parker (Dixie) and sister-in-law Colleen Christensen Wynn (Alden).
Blaine is survived by his wife, Marion Leonard Fife of Parker, Idaho, his two daughters, Brenda (Brian) Sturdevant of Portland, Oregon and Sondra (James) Heyrend of Surprise, Arizona. Twelve Grandchildren, Twenty-four Great-grandchildren and Two Great-great grandchildren. His step-children, Spencer (Nikole) Marley of Parker, Idaho, Melissa (Cory) Losee of Arimo, Idaho, Sheree Savage of McCammon, Idaho, Magan (Ben) Abbot of Firth, Idaho, Heath (Bobbie) Marley of Rigby, Idaho, Wendy Marley of Parker, Idaho, Heidi (Bo) Billman of Dubois, Idaho, Matt Marley of Spencer, Idaho, Alicia Marley of Parker, Idaho, Thirty two step grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren. His siblings, Carol Green, Toni Mendenhall and Connie (Steve) Munn, brothers and sisters-in-law, ElRoy Leonard (Joyce) of Ashton, Idaho, Connie Barclay (Earl) of Aberdeen, Idaho, Paula Wilde (Alton) of Rigby, 9Idaho, Shane Leonard (Deena) of Elko, Nevada, Boyd Leonard (Shawna) of Hamer, Idaho. Gary Moon of Parker, Idaho. He is also survived by his Wynn in-laws, Alden (Tami) Wynn and Georganna (Lynn) Barton.
The family will be holding a memorial in his honor on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 5:30 pm at the Parker LDS Church, 132 North Center St., Parker, Idaho 83438
Funeral Home arrangements were through Bert Flamm Mortuary.
