Janice Weekes

Janice Weekes, 78 of St. Anthony, passed away April 22, 2026 at Madison Memorial Hospital.

Janice Nina Briggs Weekes was born on February 17, 1948 in Ririe, Idaho to Wayne Harold and Nina Tyler Briggs. She was the 4th of their 5 children. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending rime with her family.

She was a strong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served as a scout master and many other positions.She is survived by her children, Clinton Raye Weekes (Cherie Bristol) and Brenda Brackenbury both of St. Anthony; Cory Weekes (Jesssica) of Soda Springs and Kyle Weekes (Shawndell) of Teton. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, MaKaila Brackenbury of Rexburg; Robert (Ashley) Weekes and Jade Weekes both of Soda Springs and 3 great grandchildren, Trevor, Carter and Sammy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Cliff Weekes, her 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel at 145 E. 1st N, St. Anthony, ID. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary and on Saturday from 10:00 until 10:45 at the church. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery.
